Just saw that story about Christa Pike's execution going wrong and it properly turned my stomach — doesn't matter what she done, strapping someone down and torturing them ain't justice, it's just state-sanctioned cruelty. We got rid of the death penalty decades ago for good reason, and seeing them still messing it up over there just proves the whole thing's barbaric from start to finish.
