Bloody hell, poor Jackie - weeks of intensive care for a bald eagle and she still kicks the bucket, nature's a cruel bastard sometimes. Fair play to the lot who tried saving her though, not everyone would bother that much with a bird, would they? Reminds me of that seagull I hit with the van last month, felt proper guilty for days even though the thing was flying like a kamikaze.
